Goldcrest High, Latur is an initiative of Vilasrao Deshmukh Foundation (VDF) that aims to provide to its pupils a learning and an education that will guide them through their lives. The young men and women who l emerge from its portals will stand out as global citizens who are competent yet compassionate, eager to be an integral part of the New India. The learning environment at Goldcrest High, Latur revolves around the children and their needs, challenging them to reach beyond themselves, to take responsibility for their own growth and to allow for creative expression. The school is a safe, secure and cheerful place where learning is stress-free.

Our experienced teachers and administrators give wings to children that will enable them to convert their dreams into reality. The quality of care with its emphasis on individual attention gives the child that edge that will help him or her to be prepared, not just for today but for tomorrow as well.

Apart from a strong academic programme, our pupils participate in a variety of co-curricular activities that help them to evolve into balanced individuals. Learning and striving for excellence is inculcated in the classroom, on the sports field and across all extracurricluar activities.

We believe that as our children discover the world, both within themselves and outside, they must remember to see the less privileged and reach out and make a difference. A true Goldcrest High pupil will have a strong moral fibre and live a value-laden life. He/She will be the epitome of being fully humane and fully alive!

The opening year of our school coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of India's pioneering educationist and Nobel Laureate, Shri Rabindranath Tagore, to whose vision this year is especially dedicated. His philosophy and writings on education are an inspiration for all those who seek true freedom in thought, word and action.
